LSFL: An interview Session With The Coaches and Captains

 As Reported by Lkite Ologbonde Boluwatife Timothy

In an exhilarating show of football prowess, LSS own "world class" teams came together to battle out results; the highs and lows both panned out yesterday.

In a one-on-one interaction with the the Coaches and Captains OF THE clubs in the ongoing LSFL had some things to get off their chest after the match yesterday, 28th of April, 2023. This at the same time, would give us a sneak peak into the event.

What are your thoughts about today's match and your opponent ?

Empire(Achievers FC Coach):

"The match was a very physical one against a strong opponent. We were very well composed defensively, I believe we should have won but we will take the one point and improve in the next match."

Lekuse(Fortress FC Captain):

"Today's match was a good one actually. Though I expected us to win with more than that scoreline but it didn't really go as we wanted. But it was a good one though".

Shakur(Starboy FC Coach):

"It was a good game for them and a bad game for my team from my own point. They fought hard and well and even went extra mile into aggressive and crazy tackling because the referee seemed to be reluctant to use his cards. The officiating was good at the same time and my team was a bit sluggish today at the beginning and when we eventually grew well into the game and they started kicking and hurting us, the referee kept the situation calm but our morale was down already.

We wasted our chances which cost us well bar that we dominated our opponent and played well but our inaccuracy at finishing cost us at the end(Kelvin nice game).

 I will like to add this too—'Football has always been a game of physicality so kudos to achievers FC. I’m sure this draw is like a victory to them and it is..'.

To our loyal fans and supporters we are sorry for not giving you the maximum joy you want tonight but we will back in business soon to give you like you want it"

Jesus Heritage (Goat FC owner):

"Today's match was disappointing and honestly the players could not do more than they did because there were no subs available and they performed to their strengths as they are pretty much indifferent to each other in their style of play and I blame the coach for this."

Ijado(Royal FC):

"Today's match was pretty much football heritage, for us to have come from 2-nill down to win the game by a huge margin it is just speechless for me honestly."

Lharryvee (President FC Coach):

"It was actually an interesting one. We were able to experiment our new style with the new players we are adding to the team. Much respect to Anonymous fc. They gave us a fight and I wish them goodluck for the rest of the season."

Milk(Milky ballers FC Owner):

"Well...It was a nice match. We tried but It wasn't enough. Also, today's match actually reflected the strength and weakness of our dear team. Concerning our opponent "Fortress FC", they tried and they played good football as expected."

So do you think getting such a huge result against a string team would spur you on to more wins in the league?

Empire (Achievers FC Coach):

"Yes definitely. As you could see from the performance of the players, they are inspired now than ever and ready to go all out".

Lekuse (Fortress FC Captain):

"We have good run of games for now as we've faced our toughest tests. Now I'm waiting for Starboy FC."

Shakur (Starboy FC Coach):

"Definitely, we don’t plan on having setbacks in our quest for the league but now that we have one we will focus on our goals and win our games."

Jesus Heritage (Goat FC Owner):

"Mathematically, it's not looking realistic, but I hope the players can on behalf of the fans begin to win games and we'd see how it pans out at the end of the season."

Ijado (Royal FC Captain):

"Yes! We hope to start winning games from now on because today's result would help go a long way."

Lharryvee (President FC Coach):

"Yes! Last match, we conceded first and we had to settle for a draw. But this match we were able to come up with a win. That’s an improvement, yeah?

So we can get better from here and make sure we win the next match and see where we end up at the end of the season."

Milk (Milky Ballers Owner):

"Obviously... We are prepared to face any team head on.Today's loss was an opportunity to reflect on some shortcomings which we have done and trust me when I say we are more than ready!"
