The Female Law Students Forum (FLF) of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko Chapter, organized a community outreach event on Saturday, May 27, 2023, in celebration of Children's Day. The outreach was spurred with the intent of giving due recognition to Children's Day by indiscriminately handing out gifts to children.
The forum was convened with the intention of bringing female law students together under one platform with the purpose of encouraging advocacy, mentorship and scholarship. The objectives and initiatives of the forum, among many others, encompass primarily, the promotion of children's and female students' welfare.
As circulated, the day commenced with notable forum members converged at the Moot Court for preparatory activities. They proceeded afterwards to the junction near Chicken Rep. Restaurant, where other members joined. On the spot, a quick deliberation on the equal division of members into groups in order to forestall improper circulation of the gifts to the children within the various communities was made. The groups dispersed afterwards!
