On Wednesday, 7th June, 2023, the management of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko released a circular detailing the newly agreed date, Friday, 16th June, 2023, for the matriculation ceremony of the fresh students of the university. This is however subsequent to the circular earlier released for the postponement of the ceremony few week ago.
The statement reads:
"This is to inform all staff and students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, that the Management has fixed Friday, 16th June, 2023, as the new date for the Matriculation Ceremony for fresh students for the 2022/2023 Academic Session.
All fresh students must have registered and assigned matriculation numbers before the midnight of Wednesday, 14th June, 2023, as the list of students to be matriculated will be forwarded to the various Departments for collection of academic gowns and caps.
Any fresh student who has not completed his or her registration and assigned matriculation number before the aforementioned deadline, should not consider himself or herself as a student of this University.
The purpose of this Circular is to bring the above information to the attention of all fresh students for information and strict compliance.
