Interview

LK:  Please can you tell us about yourself?

FOTW : My name is Balogun Haroon Ayodimeji, A 400 lv law student. A lover of sports and the outgoing Sport Director.

L.K : What are your hobbies, when you're not drowning in academic work?

FOTW : I watch movies, play games and a bit of football.

L.K : What is your favourite aspect of law and why?

FOTW : Law of contract. I believe at all aspects of our life commercial transactions are being made and a contract formed.

L.K: With the current state of the country, do you think there is a place for you to practice in the field you love?

FOTW: There's always a place to pratice, you just have to have the grades or the connection. Personally if left up to me, I'll rather travel out.

L.K: What did it feel like being a sport director and what inspired you to go for that particular post

FOTW : I've always loved sports and I feel that's a major reason why I contested for the position. I felt the urge to change somethings and the best way to get it done was to be in the driver seat.

Being the sports director has its highs and lows. You feel really great when you see some of your plans being successful and coming to pass but on some days the pressure just wears one down.

L.K : How did you juggle your position and academic life?

FOTW : It was tough but a  laid down plan is still the best way to get it done. I did just that and it worked for me.

L.K : Lastly, any advice for junior colleagues or aspiring law students in their academic pursuits? But political and otherwise

FOTW : Just do you, along the way there will be different trials and problems, both  academically and otherwise, I'll just implore you to be true to yourself and be real.

Thank you for your time and service to the society!
