Minute From the Meet the Dean Program; Held on the 30th of January, 2024.

The meeting started at exactly 1:31pm with an opening prayer led by lkite ibukun, the guest speakers were introduced in the person's of Dr. Olugbenge Oke as the Dean, Mrs. Mohammed- The Sub Dean Dr. Mrs Kekere- Former Sub Dean, Mrs Gbore- Faculty Officer and Dr. Mrs Adewusi.


The Dean started by stating how pivotal the Meet the Dean program is every session, and as well commended the leadership of the Law Students' Society.



He further stated that the faculty approved a secretariat for the society, and formerly welcomed the 100 lvl students. in advice the students as a whole, he advised against examination malpractice which he said among other would tarnish not only his image but that of the school.


To the Faculty due, he enjoined the students to strive to pay the Faculty due in order to enjoy the development hinged providing a standard based education for them.



He also solicited for support in cash from students who could reach out to people around them for assistance for the faculty.

The Faculty Officer spoke on the issue of students piling up course forms as a result of non-payment of either school fees or faculty due. She implored the students to ensure to pay up as well as register in time.


The Dean spoke on students directing their complaints to the faculty instead on calling home.




The Sub-dean Spoke on the appropriate dress code, and enjoined the students to dress properly, in line with the Faculty's dress code, this was corroborated by the Dean who in addition spoke on the need to follow the school ethics.


Finally, Questions were asked and there was a discussion among the house. The closing prayer was taken by Senator Semiloore (shemmy) and the meeting ended at exactly 3:55 pm.
