Launching Legal Kekenke Magazine: THE PARALLAX

 

Meeting expectations, setting a foundational standard, and maintaining a stance of veritable media information have been the prestige that we have upheld for a long time as a media organization in a university community. However, exploring beyond the mere media coverage and enhancing easy access to information have always been our commitments, and we strive harder to see these commitments, ideas, and beliefs manifest into realities.

As such, we have endeavoured as an organisation, to set off with another immutable standard as we unveil our official magazine. The magazine titled, The Parallax, is intended to showcase Legal Kekenke as a neutral party in an observatory position in the university community.

In this light, the magazine features interviews that explore interesting discourses from respectable legal experts who have made their marks in the legal sphere with the likes of Olumide Ogidan, Esq., and Chukwunonso Emmanuel Azih, Esq. 

Also, in line with the current media landscape, we had the privilege to feature Caleb Ijioma, the founder of ROUND CHECK, a fact-checking organisation focused on young people, as he sheds light on the concerning issues of fake news, disinformation, and misinformation in today's media era

Other interesting features include: Aimasiko Ayodeji Emmanuel, David Adenegan (Deebest) and his journey in forging a more definitive part for the Students Judiciary; and The Roundtable, a group discussion that gives insight into opposing views on the intermittent interference in the students' political activities from Lekan Olaniyi (Levkins), Rhoda Oladuti (Oladuty), Olatunde Olayinka (Teeclassic) and Abdul Haqq Buhari (Haybee).
