If you were not aware, the Dean's cup is the most majestic sports competition in the faculty. Year after year, different levels push themselves to clinch the trophy not just because it would be a clear emblem that they are the best sports class but also for bragging rights.
Today's match opened the floor for the championship to begin in which LLB 2 played against LLB 1.
The starting lineup for the LLB 2 class included Papao, Dani Fx, lord Angelo, Israel, Tyler, Principal, Benefit, Adekunle, Marvin, Israel and Bolu.
The starting lineup for the LLB 1 included Skarra, T-vibe, Kaptain, Marvelous, Dokun, Macaiah, David, Cupid, Tayo, Olasam and Buga.
The LLB 2 brought their A game because not long before the match began, Dani Fx scored a goal giving them an edge against their competitors. Though Principal got injured, he still played on. While the LLB 1 class struggled to meet up, another goal was scored into the net by Papao advancing them into two to nil.
Soon enough, the first half ended and the second half began. The second half was rather uneventful with mindless passes from both teams and even more pressure on the LLB 1 to save their name. A free kick was awarded but unfortunately for LLB 2, it didn't materialize into another goal as Dani Fx kicked it over the goalpost.
Substitutions were made from the LLB 2 bench: Ayokunle substituted Principal, Egbon Kazeem substituted Adekunle, Victor substituted Marvin and Paul substituted Angelo.
The match ended with an odd number of goals in LLB 2's favour; the third goal was scored by Dani Fx.
In an interview with some spectators and players, they were asked how the match was. Here are the responses:
“Today's match was nice. We won. We got the result we wanted, not in score but in victory.”

“My team did so well. They played very well. Two goals from Dani Fx, our captain and a goal from Papao sealed the game for us. I put it to the 100 level to come tomorrow and we'll show them we're superior once again.
To the captain of LLB 1, we're coming!”

“Actually, it was a great loss but we're coming back stronger in the second leg tomorrow. We've been able to see our faults and we're working on it.”
